Iquitos

This is the "Iguana haus" where I am staying in Iquitos. I thought I would give them a shameless plug here. They are a new hotel/hostal just 4 months old and still building more rooms. Each room has air conditioning that is a HUGE PLUS here in Iquitos, Flat screen TV area in the back and a kitchen in the front, computer and decent WI-FI connection, free laundry facilities, safe luggage storage and a nice place to stay on a budget. Their brochure says 35 soles per night but they are charging me 20 soles per night ($6.70US) and there is no one here except me and Sammy has his own room here. They are very accommodating and give you any information you need or will find it for you. It is at the corner of Jr Bolivar at Jr Loreto streets.
